The advantages of the Maiergrill

Compared to conventional barbecuing, the Maiergrill system offers 7 advantages that will certainly come into their own at your event. Either as a full-service event catering solution with on-site service or as a barbecue rental service with the ready-to-use barbecues delivered or collected.

1 - Barbecue indoors

The Maiergrill is the world's first smokeless barbecue, which allows it to be used indoors. Whether you are planning your party in a castle hall, an art gallery or even in the boardroom, it will be grilled in front of your guests! This further enhances the experience and allows you to offer your guests an exclusive barbecue experience even in winter!

2 - Easy operation

Insert the barbecue skewer - done. After around 7 minutes, it is automatically placed in the warming zone where there is space for up to 8 skewers. Assembly is done in a few simple steps and as the appliances are specially designed for event catering, transportation is also ideal.

3 - Miscellaneous at the same time

We have optimized the cut size of the skewer items so that you can grill meat, fish, seafood, vegetables and potatoes to perfection at the same time. The beef shank is juicy, the chicken breast is cooked all the way through and the lamb fillet is perfectly pink, while the second-by-second speed control ensures absolute consistency.

4 - Fascinating

Barbecuing appeals to our primal needs. With the Maiergrill, the grilling experience becomes a spectacle because thanks to the vertical arrangement, the cooking process can also be followed from a distance and because everything moves and the heat source glows orange, our attention is automatically drawn to it.

5 - Healthy

As there is no contact between the grill and the food, there are none of the harmful charcoal residues. Due to the high heat, hygiene is guaranteed at all times and as grilling is contact-free, the fat content in the marinades can be reduced to almost zero. This results in light, wholesome and healthy cooking.

6 - Safe

During the design phase, particular attention was paid to occupational safety. The sides of the housing are insulated and can be touched. The fire is set back inside the appliance. Gas leakage protection, non-return valves and the latest generation of composite gas cylinders further increase safety.

7 - Highly Efficient

Depending on the model, an appliance can grill up to 200 skewers per hour, which corresponds to 400 portions or 36 kg of meat! Thanks to the vertical arrangement of the burners and the frontal glass shielding, the energy is optimally utilized so that only 1 kg of gas is consumed for 36 kg. Propane gas is environmentally friendly as it burns with virtually no residue.

Is it possible to barbecue in-house with the Maiergrill?

Naturally! As the Maiergrill is completely smoke-free, you can also barbecue in small rooms. It is therefore not surprising that the Maiergrill is increasingly being used at events in meeting rooms, castles, detached houses and apartments, allowing you to enjoy barbecues even in the cold season and automatically making your event even more surprising and unique.

We have already barbecued under the dome of the Federal Palace in Bern, in the expensively furnished meeting rooms of private banks, as well as in the living rooms of billionaires' mansions and even in a windowless igloo.
